Hachi machi, what a world of news the month of April delivers to us sports fans, Black James has delayed his trip abroad and White James has to wait for a new pope, but between all of that is a wide berth of news we need to address on this episode of the pod! For pete's sake, the NFL Draft is in our backyard up in Green Bay this year so we'll prognosticate a bit about what will happen in the top three picks and wonder aloud if Prime Time's progeny will hear his name called at such a time (spoiler alert, NOPE).
Then we turn our attention to the NBA playoffs because the Milwaukee Bucks are in dire straits losing to our rival Indiana Pacers, will Giannis experience his third straight 1st round exit after bringing home a ring just the other day? Will Luka and the Lakers keep network executives happy by making a deep run? Is OKC truly dominant enough to back up their 50pt victory over the Grizzlies?
And at long last, Rory McIlroy joins the pantheon of golfing glory by capturing his 1st green jacket at the Masters, therefore capping off his chase for the career grand slam, but not without making the entire CBS audience clutch our pearls as we watched him lose and regain and lose the lead again throughout that Sunday afternoon before winning the tournament in a playoff against Justin Rose, so stick around for the end of the show as Black James and White James reminisce on what has been a wonderful month of sports memories!
